Our company is dedicated to offer Adventure trips and activities in the area of Bariloche, specially in the Valley of the Manso River. There, beside the Manso river, in Paso León, Chile, is located our private field.
We organize expeditions as much in Argentina as in Chile, combining different activities like rafting, horse riding and trekking. The satisfaction of the client is our main objective, for that reason we have a great variety of trips, varying the difficulty and the duration of the activities. In all cases our priority is security and excellence in the service provided.
Ignacio Bustamante
founder and director of Río Manso Expediciones, was born and raised in Bariloche, where he took his first steps in different activities and sports that today we are able to offer you.
Motivated by his father, who took him horse riding in the mountain range ever since he was a child, he has ventured many times, so much with horses as by foot, in bicycle and in kayak, to the Manso river and its valley, acquiring a precise knowledge of the area and starting a great friendship with the villagers of these remote places of both Argentina and Chile.
Born a skier, he traveled around the world representing Argentina in the World Cup and the Winter Olympics, in the "bumps" discipline. He also participated in paragliding and mountain bike competitions.
In 1995 he left the ski competitions in order to devote himself to tourism and adventure trips, combining his sportsman experience acquired during many years of competitions and his deep knowledge of the area, to create this Company that today is Rio Manso Expediciones.
Mariano Buenaventura
is a kayak expert; he has descended countless rivers in Argentina, Chile, Peru and Brazil including class V rivers and first descents. Another of his passions, besides kayaking, is rock climbing. Mariano works in Rio Manso Expediciones as a rafting guide and safety kayak. He is also one of the instructors in the courses dictated by RME. .
Santiago Busch Frers
is another of our collaborators, in charge of marketing and client attention, he also acts in occasions as trip leader in the expeditions that we organize. Santiago is rescuer and volunteer fireman of the Melipal Fire Station in Bariloche.
Our rafting guides are all professionals (enabled by Prefectura Naval Argentina) with a high training in rescue techniques in mountain rivers and with a wide experience in the rivers of the area.
